View Full Version : It's possible to make a good midi only with a program?

My doubt is that to make a midi e need a keybord speacial and other thing and i wad waondering if it is possible only with a program we make a midi without that hardware.
And if it's possible could someone make a tutorial.

Plenty of users assemble midi files totally in software, but it's hardly efficient and extremely time consuming. Much better to use some hardware input device (usually a keyboard, but there are other options).

That rather deepends on what instrument/s you play.

A guitarist might use a pitch to midi converter or a Ztar, a drummer would opt for something like a Yamaha DXIII kit, a horn player could go for the Akai EWI - the world is your oyster :) .

You'd probably get more specific and useful advice if you told us exactly what it is you want to do?
