Hi all,
I'm getting into midi sequencing and, of the five or so songs I've sequenced so far, I've come to the realisation that sequencing is verrrrryyyyyy slow, labourious and time-consuming.
It's made me think: before I devote any more time to midi sequencing - with a view to possibly selling/trading them once I build up a large catalogue - I should probably find out first if there are musicians out there who are actually using midi files as backing tracks. Ie., is there still a demand for midi files?
My question: assuming all you guys on this board use midis (why else would you be here?), do you know of many other practicing musicians who use midi backing tracks in their live performances? Or have most bands evolved past midi and using other formats of backing?
Thanks for you thoughts,
Ardent
