linkin park's coming out with a new cd. it's going to be called "reanmimation" and will be out july 30. it'll include remixes of many songs that were on hybrid theory, and also a few others that weren't release. and i believe my december will be on there also.

I liked them a lot but they are starting to get overplayed. Also, when I bought the CD..I noticed that, to me, there were a few songs that sounded a lot alike. Bands like that drive me crazy!! I think we have to wait and see how subsequent albums go to know if they will stick around. So far though, I think they have made a huge impact.

I agree with aneurysm about the remix album. I would have liked to have seen a brand new set of songs. Their first album was one of the best that I own but I dont think Ill get re-animation. :evil:

linkin park is one of those bands that can get pushed and its worth it. i got their first cd, and every song is worth listening to entirely, not like some bands/artists who have one good song and the rest blow. that song wit the x-ecutioners from awhile back kicked ass, they could mix rap/rock and it wont get screwed up.

i've heard bits and pieces of meteora, and i think that i still like hybrid theory better. the best song i've heard so far on meteora is a song called "my reason." it's pretty good-ranks right up there with "in the end."
btw, they put on an increadible live performance.

I LOVE Linkin Park! They are absolutley one of my favorite bands of all time! I LOVE their style!

One day (a couple of weeks ago) there was a contest on a local radio show to win a private trip to see them and hear their new record, I actually faked sick to come home from school so that I could try to win... I called and called but never got in (had to be caller #94) I was VERY disappointed! :(

I hope to see them in concert SOME day!

i just bought meteora this evening and the first few songs are really cool..but i think i prefer hybrid theory cuz the songs in meteora aren't as hard/heavy as ht...well i listened only once and i might change my mind but on the whole i think it's a good investment....not to forget the 40pg booklet, giant poster and the 17 minute short film on the enhanced cd..

The new CD is pretty good. Hybrid Theory is a hard album to match but I think they returned with a very, very quality album. I just can't wait for them to put something new out.

P.S. I saw them live in Memphis and it was simply amazing... best concert I've ever seen.

yo, i'm a huge fan of linkin park (strangely enough i havn't bought meteora yet... nah, i have to save up some money... i spend it on other stuff..), and somewhere i belong would have to be my all time favourite song, but i don't think its in midi form on this site is it? i'm not too sure. yeah, i know this should go in the requests forum shouldn't it? not too sure, i'm quite new round here... plus it sounds like people don't like it when you post messages there.

so i would be really really grateful if anyone could post it, or direct me to it if its already here somewhere?
