Default how to add lyrics to a midi file

do you guys know of any nice soft (free if possible) that can do this

Actually, Karakan, which is still free, is nice enough.
It's probably the easiest to use.
A midi file with straight-ahead melody/vocal track can be turned into a .kar file in less than 10 minutes.

Because I was using Windows XP, I tried the Karakan (the other said Win95/98 on the site). Just reading the Karakan help files, it took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to do. But I was able to create a Kar and Midi with lyrics of "Up on the House Top" for my daughter's Christmas Karaoke collection. (I couldn't find one.) The next song should be much easier. Thank you for the link!

i have so many midis here but no lyrics how can i add lyrics to them?
